Students will be awarded milestone achievements after the completion of six leadership categories and the Aspen Assessment. As students progress within the path, they will receive customized recognition of completion along with specialized JLSLP awards.
Green = 10 Points
Onboard and Aspen Assessment
Students admitted into the pathway will be required to complete the JLSLP onboarding. By completing the onboard and the Aspen Index Assessment students will be awarded a progress of accomplishment certificate and earn green.
Silver = 30 Points
Leadership Categories Completed
Throughout the pathway, students will receive completion awards. When a student completes two leadership categories with a total of 30 points, they will earn our 2nd level – Silver. Students who complete the silver level will receive John Lewis Student Leadership merch and a progress of accomplishment award.
Blue = 50 Points
Leadership Categories Completed
Students who completed four leadership categories with a total of 50 points will earn our 3rd level – Blue. Students who accomplish the Blue level will receive John Lewis Student Leadership merch, a progress of accomplishment completion award, and the opportunity to create a leadership profile with the Center for Student Engagement.

Gold = 70 Points
Leadership Categories Completed
Participants who accomplish the top level of the John Lewis Student Leadership Pathway by completing six categories 10 points from each category with a total of 70 points will earn GA Tech Gold and are honored each spring at the prestigious Up with the White & Gold ceremony. In addition to recognition at the Up with the White & Gold ceremony, John Lewis Student Leadership student leaders may also be featured in other campus programs and promotions. Students will be honored on the JLSLP virtual leadership wall on our website. Students will earn a graduation cord and a recognition of completion award.
