Pathways Overview

Mission

The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways is dedicated to cultivating visionary and ethical leaders who are empowered to inspire positive change in their communities and beyond. Through comprehensive programming, experiential learning and mentorship students will understand their strengths and values. Our mission is to shape individuals into influential leaders who champion innovation, foster collaboration, and drive sustainable solutions for a better future.

Students will have the opportunity to achieve leadership capacities in any order and at their discretion

To achieve recognition in the complete John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways, students must complete the Aspen Index and cumulate 10 program points in six categories including:

Personal Leadership

Inclusive Leadership

Interpersonal Leadership

Innovation Leadership

Civic Leadership

Sustainable Leadership

The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways is designed for students to move through at their own pace and achieve the Gold Level accomplishment of completing the Pathways within 2-4 years. Students earn Pathways points by attending workshops, retreats, service projects, and programs offered by JLSLP and other Georgia Tech departments. Tracking of program progress is managed through the Engage website. Students who participate in the program will be able to review their progress throughout the program at any time. All Georgia Tech students are eligible to apply for the path at any time within their college career.
